SHILLONG (India): By day they are centres of learning, by night they become pigsties and cowsheds – and now school authorities in India's north-eastern states have had enough.
“We are rather worried about the pathetic conditions of our schools ... where cows and pigs take shelter at night,” Nagaland education minister P. Chuba Chang said yesterday.
