HONG KONG: Hong Kong is in the throes of another health scare, with hospital bosses yesterday raising the alert on a rare disease that has claimed only its second ever victim in the former British colony.
Hospital Authority chief Patrick Ho has ordered all suspected cases of Japanese encephalitis to be reported to a special unit following the death here on Thursday of an Indonesian woman from the disease.
