BEIJING: A Chinese court has sentenced a Taiwan national and a Chinese television advertising executive to prison sentences of up to 11 years for spying for the rival island, a court official said yesterday.
The People's Intermediate Court in Anqing city in the southern province of Anhui sentenced Taiwan national Chang Hsin-min to 10 years in prison on espionage charges on April 23, judge Liu Feng said by telephone.
