HANOI: Vietnam's Parliament rubber-stamped yesterday a decision by Prime Minister Phan Van Khai to sack his agriculture minister following a major corruption scandal.
The National Assembly, which is controlled by the ruling Communist Party, approved Khai's proposal to relieve the embattled Le Huy Ngo of his duties in a secret ballot, an official from the parliamentary office said.
