SEOUL: President Roh Moo-Hyun yesterday accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Goh Kun in a setback to the South Korean leader's plan for a partial Cabinet reshuffle.
Roh, who returned to office 11 days ago following a two-month suspension due to his impeachment, approved the resignation at a breakfast meeting with Goh, said a spokesman for the president.
