SEOUL: Prime Minister Goh Kun tendered his resignation yesterday after running the country for 63 days during South Korea's unprecedented presidential impeachment trial, his office said.
Goh had served as acting president while the Constitutional Court deliberated the fate of impeached President Roh Moo-hyun in the country's first such trial.
