TAIPEI: Falling rocks killed two people and tourists were stranded after a bridge collapsed when an earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale shook mountainous eastern Taiwan yesterday.
The rockslide struck a small truck on a winding highway in east Taiwan's Taroko Gorge National Park, killing the driver and a passenger, a disaster response official said.
