TAIPEI: Taiwanese judges yesterday ordered feuding political parties to return to the High Court early next week to thrash out how do a recount for last month's presidential election.
The judges have already given the parties five days to sort out their disputes about how to retabulate the March 20 vote, narrowly won by President Chen Shui-bian. But the deadline passed on Wednesday, and the two sides were still wrangling.
