BEIJING: China cautioned the United States yesterday against sending the “wrong message'' to Taiwan, after a Pentagon agency approved the sale of a US$1.7bil (RM6.4bil) early warning radar system to the self-ruled island.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan, speaking at a regular news briefing, didn't comment directly on the sale but said:
