TAIPEI: Three US crime scene investigators have arrived in Taiwan to help authorities probe the election eve shooting of President Chen Shiu-bian, said by the opposition to have swung the vote, police said yesterday.
The experts in ballistics, forensics and identifications visited the Criminal Investigation Bureau where they were given evidence collected by the domestic police task force, including ballistic information, the two bullets hitting Chen and Vice-President Annette Lu, as well as Chen's clothes.
