THE more than four million migrant workers and their family members in Shanghai will have more access to basic medical assistance beginning this year as the metropolis reforms its medical system.
All migrant children below six years old will be vaccinated for free against tuberculosis, infantile paralysis, hepatitis B and measles, all infectious diseases among children, according to a health scheme released on March 17.
