PATTANI: Thailand plans to spend 32 billion baht (RM3bil) on a development scheme to undermine a new surge of violence in the Muslim south, according to a government document seen yesterday.
The Cabinet secretariat proposal, due to be presented to a Cabinet meeting in this southern city today, said the scheme should be carried out “urgently”.
