Yunnan grows with flowers

THE floral industry in southwest China's Yunnan province, the country's leading flower grower, generated 4.2bil yuan (RM1.9bil) in output value last year and earned US$30mil (RM114mil) in foreign exchange from exports, according to the provincial association of floral enterprises. 

Yunnan produced some three billion flowers last year, maintaining its position as the largest flower producer in China over 10 consecutive years.
