DAVAO, Philippines (AP) - A group of communist guerrillas posing as campaign workers for a presidential candidate raided a guard house at a banana plantation in the southern Philippines, wounding six security guards and stealing their weapons, police said Saturday.
About 30 New People's Army guerrillas arrived in two vehicles at the Nova Vista Plantation outside Mabini town in Compostela Valley province late Friday, and started pasting posters of opposition senator and former national police chief Panfilo Lacson on a fence, police said.
