PHNOM PENH: A Cambodian court yesterday sentenced Prime Minister Hun Sen’s nephew Nim Sophea to three years in jail for unintentionally killing three people in a shooting spree in the capital last October.
Half of the sentence, however, was suspended, while a second man, Sam Douen, was sentenced in absentia to 10 years’ imprisonment for deliberately killing the victims and illegal possession of a weapon.
