SRINAGAR: Four people were killed and 39 others injured when a grenade exploded in the hand of a militant-turned-informer in Indian-administered Kashmir, police and witnesses said yesterday.
The ex-militant, who was among the dead, had been about to toss the grenade into a crowd of villagers in central Budgam district who had come to the aid of a family he was allegedly threatening, they said.
