Experts downplay bird flu in cats

BANGKOK: Health experts downplayed yesterday bird flu infections in domestic cats, saying they would not likely increase the current risk posed to humans from the virus that has swept through Asia and killed at least 22 people. 

Bird flu killed three house cats near the capital, Bangkok, Thai officials reported on Friday.
