WINE lovers have little reason to celebrate, as tariff cuts on their favourite imported beverages have failed to translate into expected price cuts.
Li Xiao hoped that the tariff on imported wine, which was slashed on Jan 1, would mean cheaper imported wines. But Li was very disappointed. Market prices for imported wine are still as expensive as they were last year.
