BANGKOK: Fortune-tellers in Thailand, whose pronouncements on everything from politics to the weather are widely respected here, declared yesterday that the bird flu crisis would be over by next month.
They said that although Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's government would survive allegations that it covered up the outbreak, the premier's health would take a turn for the worse in April.
