SINGAPORE recorded its heaviest rainfall for the month of January in 30 years as monsoon rain poured down almost continuously in the past week, authorities said yesterday.
Singapore saw 595.5mm of rainfall between New Year's Day and Jan 29 – the highest amount recorded in January since 1974, a statement from the Meteorological Services division of the republic's National Environment Agency said. – AP
