A STARK picture of an aborted foetus appears on the first page of a new book on teenagers. The caption reads: “Pregnant teenagers sometimes turn to abortion”.
The tell-it-as-it-is approach is being taken by three organisations – the Registry of Muslim Marriages, a branch of the Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society and the Malay-language daily Berita Harian – which have teamed up to publish the book aimed at addressing what they see as “pressing” issues facing the Malay community.
