PHNOM PENH: The murder of Cambodia's most prominent labour activist, whose funeral attracted thousands yesterday, is the latest in a series of broad daylight assassinations that has aroused fear on the streets of the capital.
In the past year, a politician, a judge, a journalist, a popular singer and several Buddhist figures have all been gunned down, and few of their attackers have been either identified or apprehended.
