DESPITE all the scares about mad-cow disease, cancer-causing salmon and now, fowl cholera, Singaporeans did not exclude beef, salmon or chicken from their Chinese New Year reunion dinner menus.
A check of 12 Chinese restaurants found that none had been asked by customers to take beef, salmon or chicken off the menu during the festive season which ends on Feb 5.
