JAKARTA: Foreign tourists and other visitors from a number of countries will have to pay US$25 (RM95) for Indonesian visas when a new policy takes effect on Feb 1, a spokesman for the immigration office said yesterday.
Indonesia abolished visas requirements for citizens of dozens of countries 20 years ago to attract more foreign tourists. But the government recently reinstated them after claims that it has been abused by foreigners working illegally in the country.
