BANGKOK, Thailand (AP) - Chicken sales have plunged at stores and restaurants across Thailand due to fears sparked by the regional bird flu outbreak, though officials deny it's affected Thai farms, a newspaper reported Monday.
Shoppers at a major discount retailer, preparing for feasts to celebrate the lunar New Year this week, have shunned chicken in favor of fish and pork, the Manager newspaper said.
