BAM (Iran): After eight days and nights trapped under the rubble of her earthquake-hit home here, the first request of a 97-year-old woman found by Red Crescent workers was for a cup of tea, aid staff said yesterday.
Shahr-Banou Mazandarani, who was plucked from under a pile of dust and bricks on Saturday, was said to be in a good health despite her ordeal having suffered fractured limbs and dehydration.
