SINGAPORE: Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong said in remarks published yesterday he would decide after the first quarter of next year when to step down and clear the way for a leadership change.
Transition is on track and I would say, maybe after the first quarter of next year, I would be able to firm up on the date of my retirement as premier, broadcaster Channel News Asia quoted Goh as saying on its website.
