MAKASSAR: An Indonesian court sentenced a militant to 18 years in jail yesterday for helping to plan and carry out the deadly bombing of a McDonald's restaurant on Sulawesi island last year.
Arman, 30, smiled as the sentence – the highest yet passed down in the attack – was read out. He said he would appeal the verdict.
