PHNOM PENH: Cambodia's King Norodom Sihanouk warned yesterday that he would call for a national referendum if the current five-month deadlock continued over forming a government.
In a statement posted on his website, the king said the impasse was “dispiriting and dishonourable” as the country's three major parties continued to wrangle over the details of a coalition government following July national elections.
