MANILA: A tearful Imelda Marcos found herself in legal hot water again yesterday but claimed unjust persecution after extending an overseas trip without a Philippine court's permission.
“They have taken everything away from the Marcoses, now they even want to take away my life and my eyesight,” said the widow of late dictator Ferdinand Marcos, known for her extensive shoe collection and theatrics.
