MANILA: The United States has deployed two long-range military surveillance aircraft in the Philippines as part of assistance in the war against terror, military officials said yesterday.
“These planes are providing security coverage for the small contingent of US troops ... in Mindanao,” said Maj Restituto Padilla, a spokesman for the Philippine Air Force.
