BANGKOK: Thailand’s tourist police said yesterday that they had rounded up 41 Asian and African nationals carrying improper travel documents in a clampdown on transnational crime ahead of this month’s Apec summit.
A two-day blitz of 26 tourist spots in the capital, including the red light district Nana and backpacker area Khao San Road, ended on Wednesday and netted 41 foreigners, police said.
