BANGKOK: Thailand's Supreme Court issued yesterday an arrest warrant for former public health minister Rakkiat Sukthana after he was found guilty of bribery and failed to show up for a court appearance.
Rakkiat, a former health minister under a previous administration, was found guilty of accepting a five million baht (RM471,000) bribe from a private healthcare company, a crime for which he could be jailed for life.
