SINGAPORE has no plans to send combat troops to Iraq, but may send support troops to help rebuild the country.
Asked if the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) plans to send soldiers to Iraq, Rear-Admiral (NS) Teo Chee Hean, who officially took over from Dr Tony Tan as Defence Minister on Friday, said: “That question does not arise right now.”
