PHNOM PENH: Party faithful shouted slogans, beat drums and honked horns at rallies yesterday, the final day of campaigning for Cambodia's general election, which is expected to return Prime Minister Hun Sen to power.
As a light rain fell, thousands turned out for a speech by royalist Funcinpec party leader Prince Norodom Ranariddh at the Independence Monument here, while a convoy of trucks drove by carrying supporters of the ruling Cambodian People's Party.
