MANILA: A re-enactment of the embarrassing escape of a Jemaah Islamiah (JI) terrorist from the Philippine police headquarters yesterday revealed further laxity and carelessness by the country's law enforcers.
The damage to the country's image caused by Indonesian bomb-maker Fathur Rohman al-Ghozi's escape this week worsened with revelations that another detained terror suspect had been working in al-Ghozi's jail as a janitor.
