JAKARTA: Nine terror suspects arrested recently had planned devastating bomb attacks in shopping malls and churches, and assassinations of Indonesia's top figures, police said yesterday.
On Friday, police announced the arrests of three men here and four in Semarang in Central Java, between July 4 and July 11. Police spokesman Brig-Gen Edward Aritonang confirmed yesterday that another two had been arrested, one here and another in Magelang in central Java.
