JAKARTA: Indonesian police have arrested at least three senior Jemaah Islamiah Muslim militants over the Bali bombings and foiled plans for more attacks, but they have not yet caught the group's operations chief, they said yesterday.
Police said one of the militants committed suicide by shooting himself with an M-16 rifle shortly after being arrested near Indonesian President Megawati Sukarnoputri's main private residence.
