SINGAPORE: The bodies of Iranian twins Laleh and Ladan Bijani lay one metre apart from each other in individual caskets here yesterday as a prayer service marked the end of their tragic dream for independence.
About 500 people attended the service at the Ba'alwi mosque here to pay their final respects to the sisters, who died on Tuesday during a pioneering attempt to separate them after 29 years joined at the head.
