MANILA: A Filipino Muslim extremist charged in a deadly train bombing in Manila three years ago broke into tears and begged for forgiveness yesterday after state prosecutors showed him pictures of the victims' mangled bodies.
Saifulla Yunos, 31, a self-confessed member of the separatist Moro Islamic Liberation Front arrested in May, said he would prefer to be executed.
