SEOUL: The South Korean government issued an ultimatum yesterday urging railway workers to end a strike or face dismissal as labour groups vowed to push ahead with walkouts.
Deputy Prime Minister Kim Jin-Pyo said the government set 1300 GMT yesterday as the deadline for the railway union to return to work.
