BANGKOK: Authorities have installed surveillance cameras in a bid to prevent people from dumping unwanted cats at Thailand's grandest and most famous temple, an official said yesterday.
Nearly 50 cats have become permanent residents at the Temple of the Emerald Buddha here, eluding efforts to clear them out, and officials say they are becoming a nuisance to tourists who visit it daily.
