BANGKOK: Protests could break out in Thailand's Muslim south if there are long delays in prosecuting three alleged terrorists accused of planning a major bomb plot, a senator warned yesterday.
Three Thai Muslims – a doctor, an Islamic teacher and his son – were arrested on June 10 on charges of belonging to regional terror network Jemaah Islamiah (JI) and plotting to bomb five foreign embassies and tourist spots.
