AFTER a bitter 12-year battle for a share in the fortune of her late father-in-law, Englishwoman Jane Ong will eventually have in hand only about S$100,000 (RM220,000) of her S$3.4mil award (RM7.5mil).
It is estimated that this will be the residual amount after deducting the interim payments made to her, the fees paid to experts she had engaged and fees she will incur for the appeal she intends to mount.
