SINGAPORE: Singapore was nervously preparing yesterday to be declared SARS-free after entering its 19th day without a new infection of the respiratory disease.
Singapore will be taken off the World Health Organisation's (WHO's) list of nations affected by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome if it reaches 20 days without another infection.
