TAIPEI: Taiwan insisted yesterday its Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) crisis was ebbing and faulted the World Health Organisation for saying it hasn't peaked yet.
In signs that normal life was returning, airlines were restoring flights cancelled during a plunge in travel due to SARS fears, and traffic accidents surged in Beijing as drivers returned to the streets.
