HANOI, Vietnam (AP) - The defence has wrapped up its arguments in Vietnam's biggest criminal trial, and it is now up to the judge to decide whether Ho Chi Minh City's reputed crime boss will face a firing squad, state-controlled media reported Saturday.
Truong Van Cam, 55, otherwise known as Nam Cam, apologized for his actions and asked the judge to have mercy on his wife, who faces up to 20 years in jail if convicted, the Thanh Nien (Young People) newspaper said.
