TAIPEI: Taiwan reported another surge in Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) cases yesterday, but the government insisted new measures to control the spread of the disease were working and the epidemic would soon be brought under control.
The 55 new cases of SARS follow a record 65 cases on Thursday.
