BANDA ACEH, Indonesia (AP) - Indonesian police Friday arrested three rebel negotiators in Aceh province as they were leaving for Japan to attend talks with the government aimed at saving a peace deal in the region, police and witnesses said.
The negotiators were detained because they were breaking the law by leaving the province, Aceh police detective Col. Surya Dharma said.
