TOKYO (AP) - The Japanese government Friday announced a 1.5 billion yen (US$13 million) emergency aid package to help China buy equipment to fight SARS.
Tokyo also will donate 20,000 protective suits to the city of Beijing and 4 X-ray machines to Shanghai, a Foreign Ministry statement said.
